Houston Symphony – Community-Embedded musician

Education and Community Engagement Work includes string instruction, music appreciation classes, and workshops for students of all ages; interactions with hospital patients through bedside performances; and performances for social service organizations and other community settings.

Select concerts with the Houston Symphony include:

• Classical Subscription: up to three (3) programs (3 concert weekends consisting of three concerts per weekend)
• Family Subscription: Up to four (4) programs (4 back-to-back concert services)
• Student Concerts: Up to twenty (20) concerts
• Additional substitute opportunities with the orchestra may be available
