The Yehudi Menuhin School: Junior Menuhins Cello Tutor

This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic cellist and teacher with a passion for early years education to join The Yehudi Menuhin School’s Junior Menuhins team. Experience with teaching primary aged pupils is desirable, although specialist training will be provided by the school’s chosen partner, the DaCapo Music Foundation. An enthusiasm for building a love and passion for music from a young age are essential. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the importance of quality comprehensive music education alongside specialist instrument tuition. The role will include supporting with musicianship classes in addition to teaching small groups (ages 4-7) and 1:1 (ages 7-11) instrumental lessons.

The school is also currently recruiting for a Virtual Cello Tutor to teach our Virtual Menuhin School pupils (ages 7-18 years). If you are interested in applying for both roles, you only need to submit a single application, and state your interest in both roles.
