The Yehudi Menuhin School: Little Menuhins Tutor (Early Years Music Tutor)

Development of the Early Years Suite of Programmes:

– Undergo formal training in the DaCapo Music Foundation methods and resources

– Contribute to class structure and resource discussions as the Mini Menuhin (ages 3-7) and Little Menuhin (ages 7-11) curriculum develops

– Assist with the initial running of Baby Menuhin classes (0-3 years) during the pre-pilot and pilot phase (January-April 2023), with the continued development goal to run classes in conjunction with the Early Years and Juniors Programmes Lead

Launch of the Early Years Suite of Programmes:

– Assist/run Baby Menuhin classes, following the curriculum set out in partnership with the DaCapo Music Foundation (from April 2023)

– Teach group Mini Menuhin classes (violin/viola/cello depending on specialism), and individual instrumental lessons for Little Menuhins upon launch of programmes in September 2023

– Assist with administrative tasks such as parent communications, writing the weekly newsletter, and management of class resources, as required
