The London Film Music Orchestra is looking for musicians to join us on our Film Music Tour around the U.K. from September onwards. The successful candidates will become part of the orchestra as a rotating musician.
Instruments we are recruiting:
Violin
Viola
Cello
Bass
Trumpet
Trombone
Horn
Flute
Percussion
Keyboards
Voice
Requirements:
-The applicant must have a Bachelors degree in Music.
-It is desired that the applicant has professional experience of working in an orchestra.
To audition please submit your CV and a video recording of the following 2 contrasting works:
1.Baroque/Classical piece/extract lasting up to 5 minutes
2.Contrasting work from only classical repertoire- this could be a short performance piece, or a movement from a concerto or Sonata, or similar.
Chosen pieces can not be ensemble/chamber music.
Fees and concert availability will be discussed with the successful applicants
