Overview
The co-principal cellist is expected to lead the section approximately 30% of the time during each season. This will be agreed upon within the section. Our goal is to maintain an exemplary level of playing in both the principal and co-principal positions whilst simultaneously assuring the orchestra’s need for flexibility.
