Overview
The Omaha Symphony is seeking a highly qualified musician to play Section
Cello beginning in the 2019/20 season. This is a per-service, tenure track
position.
Compensation and Benefits
This position guarantees 106 services during the Omaha Symphony’s 38-week
season. The 2019/20 per-service rate and annual guaranteed compensation are
currently under negotiation; the 2018/19 per-service rate was $121.73 with
$12,903.28 guaranteed compensation. Benefits include paid sick leave, partially
subsidized instrument insurance, and up to a 3% match on an employer sponsored
403(b) retirement fund.

This will be a standard, multi-round audition. If the position is filled by a current
member of the orchestra, the runner-up may be offered the resulting vacancy.
