Auditions take place in Oslo Concert Hall (Chamber Hall)

Audition requirements:

• Haydn: Cello concerto C or D major, 1st and 2nd movement, w/cadenza
• Cello concerto by Dvorak or Schumann, 1st movement
• Orchestral excerpts available for download here.

Qualified applicants will receive invitation to audition after the closing date. We are expecting many applicants and due to this, candidates not currently holding a permanent position in a professional orchestra may be asked to qualify, either via recording or a live qualification round in Oslo the day before the main audition.
