Required for the audition:
– J. Haydn Cello Concerto in D major, 1st movement (with cadenza) & 2nd movement
– a Romantic or 20th Century Concerto or concert piece

The internationally renowned Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim (Southwest German Chamber Orchestra) is a full-time string orchestra, which employs regular extra string and wind players as required. The subscription concerts in Pforzheim (North Black Forest region) are the artistic mainstay of the orchestra. In addition, extended concert tours in Germany and abroad, regular CD recordings, various other concerts in Pforzheim and the surrounding area, youth concerts.
